Roles we hire for

Software Engineer

Build and operate Platoon’s product across the stack — a Python/FastAPI backend, a Next.js/React web app, and a React Native mobile app — running on managed cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud, AWS) with PostgreSQL and real-time audio/transcription pipelines.

• Design and ship features end to end, from data model to UI.
• Write reliable, well-tested code and review others’ changes.
• Operate services in production: observability, performance, and reliability.

AI / ML Engineer

Design and improve the LLM-powered pipelines that turn interview audio into high-quality notes (speech-to-text, embeddings, retrieval, and note generation), using frameworks such as LangGraph and LangChain.

• Build and evaluate LLM workflows for accuracy, reliability, and cost.
• Improve note quality through prompt design, retrieval, and evaluation.
• Measure and reduce latency and per-request cost.

Small team, high trust, and a lot of ownership. We move quickly, review each other’s work, and care about doing things properly, including how we handle customer data (see our Privacy Policy and Subprocessor List).
