Account & Data Deletion

Platoon, Inc. (“Platoon”) lets you delete your account and all associated data at any time.

Delete your account in the app

1. Open the Platoon app.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Tap “Delete account” and confirm.

Your account and all associated data are permanently deleted.

Request deletion by email

If you can’t access the app, email support@platoonhq.io from your account’s email address with the subject “Account deletion request”. We verify and process the request within 30 days.

Data that is deleted

When you delete your account, we permanently delete your profile (name and email), your recordings and their audio files, transcripts, generated notes, the projects you own, your memberships, your activity and search history, and your subscription record.

Data that is retained

• Usage and billing records (payment and minute-usage history) are retained in de-identified form for accounting and audit purposes; they are no longer linked to your identity.
• A record of your email address is retained to enforce our Terms and prevent abuse (such as re-claiming new-user credits).
• Residual copies in encrypted database backups are automatically deleted within 7 days.
